Introduction to Speed Reading is for average or better readers, age 13 - adult. In this two hour introduction you will figure out how fast you actually read now, get a brief overview of the brain science behind reading fast, and learn many tools to help you read faster and comprehend more. Every student who has taken this class over the past eight years has doubled their reading speed within the two hour intro; many have even tripled their reading speed. Please join us for a fun filled week with the American Girl Dolls. We will explore 5 of the historical dolls –their time in history, who they were, what they did and even their fashion. During out time together, we will share, create and craft. We willalso, look at creative lettering, tiny treats and funky felt creations. If you have an American Girl Doll, you may bring her to camp, but not a requirement. A snack will be included each day.

Decorated Cookie Workshop

We will have a variety of tools to decorate cookies of all shapes and sizes. They will be able to participate at their own level (there is never a wrong way to decorate a cookie!). Also, if you have cookie cutters, you are welcome to bring them, as each student will cut, bake and decorate their own dozen cookies each day!
Proceeds will go to purchase CERC an oven for future cooking classes. There is limited space, so a second class will be offered from 1:30-3:00 if we have additional sign-ups.
