I know! I had a goal to list a book a day, but man, we have been busy! We're getting ready with fun promotions for April and May; we have a FULL class schedule that is about to be released; and it's tax season!! I'm also trying to launch a new on-line bookstore - all the while loving on my very active 6 year old and 3 year old!!
Do you like my new page? I'm getting more creative!! Bright things cheer me up!
If you're on 360 - I have a duplicate blog on our web-site www.cerconline.org/blog/blogindex.html. It's very colorful!
Well, just so that I can feel like I've accomplished something. I'll list one of my favorite NEW items!
Slangman's Learning (foreign language of your choice) through Fairy Tales!
These books are SO cute! The illustrations are great - the whole story is on Audio CD - and each level introduces 20 new words! They are so much fun - and the words are introduced very simply - first the English, then the Spanish (as the picture shows). After introducing it for the first time, then they use only the Spanish word (highlighted in Red) in the rest of the story! It's great and comes in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Hebrew, Chinese and Japanese.
David Burke, the original Slangman, will also have a PBS children's show called Slangman's World! in which he introduces languages.
Lastly, he started with American Slang books - these I'm not sure about - really haven't seen them - but as a lover of proper English (yes, I know, I write very conversationally - I hope it's better than slang) - I can't say that I would be as excited - but if anyone has seen and heard these ....
Thanks for visiting!
