Mrs. Meredith Buhrow

Mrs. Buhrow graduated from the University of Texas in 1979 with a Bachelor of
Science in Education; certified to teach math, history, and geography. In the 30+
years since then, she has taught in several venues including public school, Sunday
School, and Mother's Day Out, volunteer coops for home educated children and as a
paid teacher in home school coops. Mrs. Buhrow has taught all ages and a wide
variety of subjects since 2005, including Elementary Science Experiments to 6-9 year
olds, loving almost every minute of it (the day the water and oil didn't mix and the
experiment spilled on the carpet was a challenge!) Sometimes the student share
theirjoys and fears with me as a result of the experiments and verses, and this is a
treasure! Mrs. Buhrow has two children, both of whom have been homeschooled
since Kindergarten. Her daughter, Ellen is a junior at Mary Hardin Baylor and her son,
Sasha, will graduate in 2012.
