Mrs. Cathy Tharp

Mrs. Tharp has a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems from
UTA. She spent the last 13 years as a Software Engineer for JCPenney’s and recently
resigned to spend more time with her family. Mrs. Tharp’s work with JCPenney’s
heavily emphasized analytical, mathematical, and managerial skills. She has also
worked in children’s ministry and coached basketball and soccer over the past nine
years. Through her volunteer efforts, Mrs. Tharp has realized the passion the Lord has
given her for teaching. She has homeschooled for 2 years, as well as substitute
taught at HEAR. Mrs. Tharp believes interactive learning is essential to building a
lasting foundation of knowledge.
