Chemistry Diana Oudin / Patti Tamez
This is a high school level Chemistry course designed to prepare the student for a
college level class. This course will cover atoms and molecules, chemical equations,
solutions, kinetics, energy and heat. There will be a lab section in which the student
will gain the knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety and analysis. Students will
complete approximately 40 experiments including the extra microchemistry
experiment kit.
Materials Needed: Apologia Chemistry, 2nd edition textbook; Solutions and Test
Manual; scientific calculator, loose-leaf paper, pens, binder, 16 dividers
