Swimming Creatures of the 5th Day Diana Oudin
From the rivers and streams to the mighty ocean, God filled the Earth's waters with
animals great and small. Apologia's elementary science book will take you and your
family on an exploration into the wonders of the swimming creatures made on the
fifth day of Creation. We will study all kinds of swimming creatures, including
mammals, turtles, snakes, salamanders and plesiosaraus, as well as fish,
crustaceans, coral and the more typically thought of as sea creatures.
From the microscopic to massive, the creatures your student studies will come to
life as your student creates replicas of them and adds them to his Ocean box - a
miniature hand-crafted aquarium. The class will consist of lessons, experiments and
projects. We will take a field trip to aquariums and the zoo during the course (all
Field Trips will be on a Wednesday and paid for by the parents).

Course Notebook (printed out from course website), binder, paper, pen, and colored
pencils
