This course is designed as a sequel to at least one year of high school algebra.
Topics include polynomials, factoring, algebraic fractions, exponents, radicals, and
quadratic equations. This course will utilize the online resources MyMathLab
MathXL® which is a powerful, online homework, tutorial, and assessment system.
It includes: video and/or power point lecture slides, step-by-step examples for any
problem, chapter reviews, individualized study plans based on performance.
Homework problems are algorithmically generated and allows for instant help and
feedback on each problem, supporting mastery of each topic.
