Institute for Excellence in Writing II                                                 Susan Swiggart

Building on writing skills in IEW I, this class will again focus on the key word outline
as applied to writing reports, writing from pictures, writing super essays, and some
creative writing. Dress-up skills will also be added as students learn how to use
advanced dress-ups, advanced openers, and various triples in their writing. By the
end of this course, students should feel comfortable and confident in their ability to
tackle any writing assignment.

    Prerequisite: IEW I

Materials Needed: 3 ring binder, paper, set of dividers, computer availability
