The Feasts of Israel Steven and Adria Ger
This eight week “Mini-mester” will teach students about the Biblical, historical, political,
and social aspects of the main feasts of Israel (Atonement, Hanukkah, Passover,
Pentecost, Sabbath, Tabernacles, and Trumpets) and how they all point to God’s
redemptive work on behalf of mankind. By the end of the course, each child will have an
understanding of the meaning and purpose of each holiday, how Jesus both illuminates
and fulfills each one, and how each holiday can be celebrated in the contemporary
Christian home.
This course will be taught using materials produced by Steven Ger and Sojourner
Ministries in addition to handouts from other relevant and appropriate books.
Materials needed: small binder, paper, pencil/pen, The Jewish Heart Series CDs - $44
